Yup, it is official Apple is working together with Adobe to bring the flash player to the iPhone (finally!).

No need to scratch your eyes, it’s official. Apple is working together with Adobe to bring the flash player to the iPhone (finally!). It was confirmed first at Flash on the Beach (england) by Paul Betlem, Sr. Director of Engineering at Adobe Systems and recently by Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen. He did not mention however, when it will be available. It will certainly be an advantage for Apple to have it at least ready by the end of the year.

Why is this important: it opens the door to flash developers to create flash web based applications. It will give the iPhone users the possibilities to see a large number of websites that require the flash player. Most importantly, it takes us one step closer to convergence.

Is this our future? According to Opera software it could be. One web is pretty much aligned with Tim Berners Lee (yes the guy that invented the web) vision of using more raw data from the internet and translating it to multiple devices as supposed to already formatted information. The video shows how devices are interconnected with one another and how the use of technology is not overwhelming, but well integrated in the everyday life. I could very well see all of this happening in 5 years time.

Why is this important? I can only say one thing: CONVERGENCE

What is not important but true: The blond from the video is smoking hot.

In february this year, the company Samsung Electronics unveiled in Korea the first solar powered full-touch screen phone called Blue Earth.

In february this year, the company Samsung Electronics unveiled in Korea the first solar powered full-touch screen phone called Blue Earth. By charging with the solar panel located on the back of the phone, users can generate enough electronic power to use the phone for about 4 hours talk time and with the option of the conventional plug-to-a-socket if necessary.

Blue Earth is made from recycled plastic called PCM, which is extracted from water bottles, helping to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions in the manufacturing process. The device, including charger, is free from harmful substances such as Brominated Flame Retardants, Beryllium and Phthalate (whatever that is). The phone will be available in Europe this year but no real dates are given by Samsung.

Why is this important? In my opinion this is a revolutionary concept that when perfected will set the standards for new devices to come. We need technology and we love to be connected but it doesn’t have to be at the cost of destroying our planet.

Nazbatag, its a toy-robot-rabbit that connects wireless to the internet and deliver to its owners the latest news, weather, traffic, stocks or simply read a web page out loud for you. This cute rabbit can also connect to other rabbits and exchange messages between owners. Additionally it can be programmed to announce when a new email arrives to your inbox.

Created by Violet a  french company focused on creating personal, informational and non-intrusive products, yet maintaining a cutting-edge status on the digital age. All Violet founders have an Internet-related background which allows them to come up with a delicate balance between design and technology.

This funny looking gadget has an open source SDK that allows developers to create new applications and also an online community where owners can share the latest tips and tricks.

The little guy, moves around its ears and switch its multicolor lights on every time it wants to communicate with you. It comes in different colors and accessories (like colored ears) are available for buying. Starting at 99 euros, this little bunny will probably sell faster than everyone expects.
